For projects we can order custom sizes of hand crafted acrylic boxes used with frames of your choice.
Note: Ultraviolet (UV) blocking glazing (glass or acrylic) prevents ultraviolet light damage to your artwork.
What types of mats do we provide?
Chevy Chase Gallery only uses the highest quality acid free mats and cotton rag mats in a variety of colors, textiles and silks. We also provide fabric lined mats and liners.
The Eclipse Computerized Mat Cutter provides highly accurate and repeatable precision cuts in 4, 6 or 8-ply mat board. Virtually any shape opening can be cut in the mat and repeated for a totally custom look. We consider our Eclipse to be an employee who is always at work on time and never complains about having to cut mats all day long. A 20-opening mat can be cut in less than 2 minutes.
